I love this story it just highlights the power of networking and opportunity.
Victoria Parkey a 15year old girl, while on work experience was asked to do an article on the recession and its impact to some businesses and Individuals in Dubai.
It turns out her father Andrew Prince of RWN trading www.rwnww.com is a member of BNI the worlds largest referral organizations. as well as a Certified Networker
He arranged for her to interview Peter Cowan of Results coaching and also Mark Richards of Go Extreme. www.goextremestore.com
As a result the following article was published in Time Out
http://www.timeoutdubai.com/aroundtown/features/9149-new-start-new-you/page/2
Then things began to snowball. As a result of the article Mark received a phone call from The National Newspaper in Abu Dhabi. They decided to do an article similar to the “Time Out” article about people loosing their jobs. http://www.thenational.ae/article/20090712/NATIONAL/707119870
Following this BBC world who had seen the article in The National contacted Mark about doing another article on him ( yes about the recession ) and how he was finding solutions to the situation.
Mark on “You Tube”
Within a day Mark reports that people were calling him from as a far afield as Australia, UK and Germany commenting on what he was doing and his new company.
The power of BNI, the power of networking; the power of a switched on 15 year old girl.

Thanks for writing about this. There’s a lot of great tech information on the internet. You’ve got a lot of that info here on your site. I’m impressed – I try to keep a couple blogs somewhat ongoing, but it’s a struggle sometimes. You’ve done a solid job with this one. How do you do it?
As a whole I do not make comments on blogs, but I have to mention that this post really forced me to do so. Really proficient post

I agree with some of the other comments about this stuff
You may have not intended to do so, but I think you have managed to express the state of mind that lots of individuals are in. The sense of wanting to help, but not knowing how or where, is something a lot of us are going through.
